Ordinary oil-free air compressors are only oil-free, and the compressed air cannot be water-free, so post-processing equipment is still needed. In general, if the quality requirements for compressed gas are not very strict, ordinary air compressors can meet the needs. However, for some occasions that have very strict requirements on the quality of compressed gas, or occasions where oil and water are prohibited, in order to meet the requirements, it is necessary to equip the air compressor with post-processing equipment

 

Generally, post-processing equipment has three main functions: voltage stabilization, drying, and oil removal. The combination of these three functions is to improve the quality of compressed air to meet higher air demand. 1. Voltage stabilization: In order to stabilize the exhaust pressure of the air compressor, the main equipment we use is the air storage tank. In fact, in addition to stabilizing the pressure, the gas storage tank also plays the role of precipitating impurities and purifying the gas.

These two devices have their own advantages and disadvantages, and users can choose one of them according to their specific situation.

 

3. Degreasing: In order to remove the oil in the compressed air, we need to use precision filters. When installing post-processing equipment for oil-free air compressors, the installation sequence of the above three equipment is: air storage tank, precision filter, and air dryer. In addition, users can increase or decrease the above equipment according to their gas consumption requirements.
