The air compressor generates a certain internal pressure after being pneumatically operated. After the compressed air mixed with oil and gas is sprayed into the oil-gas separator barrel, most of the oil is deposited at the bottom of the oil-gas barrel, and the rest of the oily mist air passes through the oil-gas separator core to further filter the remaining air compressor oil. Temperature control valve

The main function of the temperature control valve is to control the exhaust temperature of the compressor by controlling the temperature of the air compressor oil sprayed into the machine head, so as to avoid emulsifying the lubricating oil due to condensation of water in the air in the oil and gas barrel. When the machine starts to run, the lubricating oil temperature is low, the temperature control valve is closed, and the cold oil is directly sprayed into the machine head without passing through the cooler. If the oil temperature rises above 55 degrees, the temperature control valve will gradually open the pipeline to the oil radiator, and fully open when it reaches 7 degrees, and then open the radiator pipeline and close the pipeline that directly sprays into the machine head. At this time, all the oil will be cooled by the oil radiator and then sprayed into the machine head.

Note: Many domestic models do not have a temperature control valve, but control the oil temperature by controlling the start and stop of the fan motor through the air compressor controller. When the exhaust temperature rises to 80 degrees, the fan starts to run; when the exhaust temperature is lower than 70 degrees, the fan stops automatically to keep the air compressor oil temperature within a certain range.

Oil separator core

The core of the oil-gas separator is made of multi-layer fine special fibers. The mist lubricating oil contained in the compressed air can be almost completely filtered out after passing through the oil-fine separator. The size of the oil particles can be controlled below 0.1μm, and the oil content is Can be less than 3PPM.

Oil return valve

A small amount of air compressor oil filtered by the oil-air separator is concentrated in the small circular groove in the center of the oil separation core, and is led to the main engine of the air compressor through the oil return pipe to prevent the separated lubricating oil from being discharged with the compressed air. In order to prevent the backflow of the air compressor oil in the compression chamber of the air compressor host, a one-way valve (oil return valve) is installed behind the oil return pipe. Whether the throttle hole of the valve is blocked.

Oil filter

The oil filter is a paper or wire mesh filter with a filtration accuracy between 10μ and 15μ. Its function is to remove impurities in the air compressor oil. Such as metal particles, dust, oil deterioration, etc., to protect the normal operation of bearings and rotors. If the oil filter is blocked, it may lead to insufficient oil injection, which will affect the service life of the main engine bearing, increase the exhaust temperature of the air compressor, and shorten the service life of the air compressor.
