Causes of oil content at the outlet of twin-screw air compressors
1. The lubricating oil is unqualified.
2. The setting value of the pressure maintenance valve is too low.
3. The oil return pipe is blocked at 2mm, the oil return pipe is blocked or the oil return pipe is offset. The oil return pipe is bent or deviates from the bottom of the oil separator core (check whether it is blocked or offset) the oil return check valve is blocked
4. The post-treatment is not fully discharged.
5. The oil level is too high, and the quality of the oil will cause foam.
6. The oil temperature is too high or the viscosity of the oil is too thin, and the opening pressure of the pressure maintenance valve is too low.
What is the reason for the excessive consumption of lubricating oil in the piston compressor?
Answer: Excessive consumption of compressor lubricating oil is mainly due to the following factors:
1. The lubricating oil is too thin (the temperature of the engine oil is high, and the brand does not meet the requirements);
2. The oil pressure of lubricating oil is too high;
3. The gap between the piston and the cylinder is too large;
4. The cylinder is out of round or worn too much;
5. Cylinder oil leakage:
(1) Piston ring wears too much and loses elasticity;
(2) The piston ring is bitten in the ring groove;
(3) The gap between the piston ring and the ring groove is too large;
(4) Install the wrong piston ring.
6. The crankshaft bearing or connecting rod bearing clearance is too large;
7. The temperature of the crankcase is too high or the ventilation is poor;
8. The oil rod lubricated by the splash lubrication method is too long or the oil level of the crankcase is too high. It is best to use the original (built-in) oil return pipe for the oil-gas separation core. Whether there is any deviation in the position of the oil return pipe. For the external one, check the oil return pipe and filter screen or the oil return check valve. Air compressor pressure maintenance valve flow rate too high can also produce high oil content in the compressed air (cracking pressure is too low), this situation often occurs.
Reasons for high oil content in screw air compressor exhaust:
1. The oil level is too high, and the injected oil is too much;
2. Oil return pipe or oil return check valve is blocked;
3. The exhaust pressure is too low when the unit is running;
4. The oil product is not correct, resulting in a lot of foam;
5. Oil deterioration or extended use;
6. Damage and rupture of the oil separator core.
